I saw your training videos on youtube and they absolutely blew my mind. a makiwara that allowed you to practice infighting, armlocks and hikite – its an inspired creation. i would appreciate any help you could offer in the construction of a similar training post. what material are the “arms” made out of?

Enjoyed your blog and videos very much. I met Hokama sensei in 1986 just after he had written his first book when I was there with my teacher visiting and training with Matayoshi sensei, (Hokama sensei was a kobudo student of his).
