for a young fella you have good sense.its refreshing to see that you espouse the true nature of karate-do.your dojo looks quite the space, how much sq footage do you have then???anyway, very nice site and thanks for your efforts in maintaining a place for boring old karateka (that would be me) to go and have a good read on the art they so dearly love.goodluck and train hard-eamonn

You have a great site. I really like your dojo pics. It looks like a dojo should look. I’m a student of Japanese Goju-Ryu (Gosei Yamaguchi Sensei, Goju-Kai, USA). Next time I take a trip across the big pond I’ll try to find your dojo and take a closer look first hand.

Thanks for posting so much good information.

    hello sensei.
i have looked at your dojo pictures its nice to see a traditional dojo in every sence of the word.
I trained with sensei barrett about seventeen years ago and attained the grade of green belt.
but had to leave, the reason i could not make the commitment to training was due to the fact that i joined the fire service.
but after a lot of thought i feel that i would like to start training again.
i understand your dojo is in brentwood which is not to far for me as i live in harlow.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    very best regards.

    Hi Garry,
Do like your thoughts on Traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Do, you think like me on so many topics, maybe its the influence of good Instruction we receive on meeting our Senseis? Good web site and really informative for Goju practitioners!!!
Don’t stop writing Garry, thank you Mark W.
